Office Update

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic continues to affect all aspects of our lives including families, business and communities. During this time of uncertainty, we are proud to acknowledge the efforts of all Western Surety staff who ensured a smooth and seamless transition to working remotely from home while providing the highest service levels you have come to associate with our company.

We continue to monitor and follow the safety guidelines of federal, provincial and local public health officials regarding the safe transition back to our workplaces. All of our staff in Regina and Halifax have returned to our physical office locations, although a few employees are on adjusted schedules. In Toronto, where case numbers continue to be problematic, employees are working from the office on a rotating basis. As always, while working remotely, our Toronto staff continue to be easily accessible by phone, e-mail, text and video conference. Your choice!

As we slowly move toward a “new normal” of conducting our business, while recognizing the varying degrees of COVID-19 issues across the country, for the time being, all non-essential business travel, including conferences and events, continue to be suspended.

Over the course of the pandemic shutdown, we have had the pleasure of connecting with many of you, sharing our stories and experiences as we have adapted to quickly changing circumstances. Our business is really all about the people and we thank you for your continued support of Western Surety.
